What is Swiss Community Bank?

Swiss Community Bank is a digital bank for people and businesses, with euro accounts, sub-accounts in other currencies, cards, savings, shares and crypto deposits.

What does it cost to send money?

Payments and bills within Switzerland are free. International bank transfers cost 1%, shown before you confirm. See the pricing page for every fee.

Is there ever a code or fee to release my money?

No. Transfers never need release codes or extra payments. If anyone asks you for one, it is not us.

Why is my payment waiting for review?

International transfers of €3,000 or more and large crypto deposits are reviewed by a person. Each decision has a written reason, and a rejected transfer is refunded in full, fee included.

How do crypto deposits work?

You request a deposit address, send crypto to it, and the euro value is credited once the transfer is confirmed.

Which currencies can I hold?

Euro by default, with sub-accounts in CHF, USD, GBP and CAD. Exchanging between your own accounts costs 0.25%.

Why can't I send money yet?

Your identity check must be verified, the account must be active, and you must be under your monthly limit.

How is my balance calculated?

As the sum of every ledger entry on your account. Corrections appear as reversing entries in your history.

Do you offer loans, mortgages or insurance?

Not yet. Those pages are on the menu so you can tell us if you are interested.
